Welcome to Nedbank Internet Banking SARS E-MAIL SCAM WARNING PLEASE NOTE: An email that alleges to be from SARS is circulating. This email is NOT from SARS it is a spoof email that is part of a scam. The mail advises you that SARS owes you money and that you should click on the link. Do not click on the link as you may compromise your details. Also, please take the following safety precautions: Do not open or respond to emails from unknown sources. If you have clicked on the link and entered your login details, you should contact the call centre immediately to report this. Be cautious of emails that ask for personal tax, banking and eFiling details (such as login details, passwords, PINs and credit/debit card information). We will never request this information in an email, over the phone or on websites. Never click on any links to get to the Nedbank Internet Banking site. Please remember that Nedbank will never ask you to click on a link to get to the internet banking website. Beware of false SMSs. Beware of emails with addresses such as returns@sars.co.za or refunds@sars.co.za indicating that tax payers are eligible to receive tax refunds.
